Sell it with usOffered by a private vendor who purchased the watch new from Porsche, this 2022 Chronograph 911 GT3 is presented with its display box, warranty, invoice, chronometer certificate, instruction manual and GT3 plaque. The vendor advises the watch is unworn and has graded it ‘AAA’ for condition. The images appear consistent with their assessment, with no signs of wear visible and factory stickers in place on the clasp.
Like the famous namesake motorcar, The Chronograph 911 GT3 is constructed from modern lightweight materials. It can also be highly customised with a range of different build options. This particular example has been specified with a lightweight brushed titanium case with yellow accents on the minutes track and chronograph hands. The watch’s underside is equipped with a sapphire case back displaying the calibre WERK 01.200 movement. Based on the venerable Valjoux 7750, it has flyback functionality and a 48-hour power reserve. Fans of the GT3 car will recognise that the winding rotor is based on its wheel design. The references to the iconic motorcar go beyond the case, with the strap made from genuine Porsche vehicle leather.
Porsche Design was founded by Professor Ferdinand Porsche, the mind behind the 911, and offers a range of design-led technical products, including this chronometer-certified timepiece.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
