Offered by a private collector, this full set 2022 Panerai Luminor Quaranta Verde Militare is presented with its display box, warranty card, and operating instructions. Also included are two factory straps (one rubber and one alligator). The vendor advises the watch has been worn once and still has the factory sticker on the case back. With no signs of wear visible, it appears to fall within the bounds of their ‘AA’ grading. 

Panerai enthusiasts with slender wrists will be excited by the release of this new 40mm Luminor. A size previously confined to the company’s history books, the Quaranta (40 in Italian) retains all of the model’s emblematic features including the cushion-shaped case and large crown guard. This particular variant of the range is an e-commerce exclusive limited to just 500 pieces and is now sold out. It’s presented in military green with a “sandwich” dial, giving it a nice three-dimensionality, while the full luminous disk underneath provides superior legibility as it glows through the hour-marker cut-outs. 

The watch is paired with a matching green rubber strap accented with Panerai branding and linked to a robust oversized buckle. The included spare alligator strap is perfect for dressing the watch up in more formal settings. Housed inside the 100m water-resistant case is the in-house calibre P.900. This automatic movement beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and is equipped with an impressive three-day power reserve.
