ABOUT THIS WATCH
- As Moser’s interpretation of a luxury sports watch, the stainless steel case is superbly finished with alternating polished and brushed surfaces along with the characteristic indentations on the case band that display a ribbed, almost coin-edge decoration
- The case of this limited edition reference measures 42.8mm and there’s a screw-down crown that attests to the 120m water resistance
- Luminescent dots on the flange and lumed hands further underline the practical nature of this model, despite its technical complexity
- 'Fumé' or fade dials are a speciality at Moser, and this Pioneer boasts a vivid blue dial that changes according to the light from an intense, almost blackish blue at the dial edges to a more electric azure colour in the centre
- Also capturing the wearer’s attention is the watch’s main highlight - a one-minute flying tourbillon seen at 6 on the dial
- With no upper bridge to block the view of the carriage and its mesmerising action, it takes the place of the seconds hand on the dial and is extensively hand finished
- On the flip side, a sapphire case back displays the calibre HMC 804
- This self-winding movement is impressively finished and is embellished with a solid gold winding rotor
- Complementing the watch's aesthetic is a factory Moser blue fabric strap
