SUMMARY

This European exclusive reference is part of a two-watch release launched by Grand Seiko last year. With a timeless dressy aesthetic, the watch features a nuanced textured dial inspired by the texture of ‘shoji’ paper and its warm silver hue is referred to as ‘Asakage’, which loosely translates to the morning sunlight. On the underside of the polished 37mm case is a sapphire crystal which displays the hand-wound calibre 9S64. Handsomely finished, this in-house calibre is equipped with a 72-hour power reserve.
