ABOUT THIS WATCH
- Part of Grand Seiko’s Sport Collection, the 44mm case is expertly hand-finished with ‘Zaratsu’ polishing applied along the lug hoods and case flanks
- This polishing technique is also used on the applied hour markers, contrasting nicely against the 'rock pattern' dial, inspired by the 'Hotaka' mountain range in Japan
- Also present is a date window and power reserve indicator, at 4 and 8 o'clock respectively
- The red GMT hand can be referenced against the 24-hour scale on the ceramic bezel to display a second time zone
- Powering the watch is the unique Spring Drive calibre 9R66, famous for combining traditional mechanical components with a quartz oscillator
- The result is a level of accuracy unmatched in conventional mechanical movements, with the timekeeping regulated to +1 to -1 seconds per day
- Grand Seiko has a legacy of making exceptional watches with quality and finishing well beyond its price point
- The consistently high level of craftsmanship has earned Grand Seiko a place amongst the top watch manufacturers
