Part of a private collection, this Rolex Day-Date is offered for auction as a full set. The sale includes the box, booklets, guarantee card, swing tags, spare bracelet links and original purchase receipt. Rolex’s 5-year guarantee covers the watch until 2026. The watch is presented with some light marking on the centre-links, bringing it within the seller’s ‘A’ grading.

Classically proportioned at 36mm, the case is constructed from 18K yellow gold, as are the iconic fluted bezel and historically significant ‘President’ bracelet, which are the watch’s most recognisable features. The green ombré dial and diamond markers take the watch to a higher level of luxury and exclusivity. Beating inside is the calibre 3255, an automatic mechanical movement that is chronometer-certified and tested after casing to +2 to -2 seconds per day.

First launched in 1956 and the world’s first chronometer wristwatch that could display the week’s date and day through windows in its dial, the Day-Date has become synonymous with luxury as a flagship model in Rolex’s catalogue.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
