Few watches combine history, versatile style and quality watchmaking like the Datejust. A model that seamlessly crosses over from dressy to sporty, it’s been a staple in Rolex’s catalogue since 1945. The ref. 126234 we see here takes all the Datejust’s features and elevates the opulence and wrist presence with diamond-set Roman numerals on a sunburst salmon dial. The remaining markers are made from white gold, as are the hands and coronet. The 36mm stainless steel case is finished in a high polish and specified with the iconic fluted bezel in white gold.

Despite these dressy touches, a twin-lock screw-down crown affords the watch 100m of water resistance - enhancing its versatility. Attached to the case is an Oyster bracelet with an Easylink extension in the clasp, providing 5mm of tool-free adjustment. The watch is equipped with Rolex’s latest generation calibre 3235 movement, which features a 70-hour power reserve, Chronometer certification and is tested after casing tested to a tolerance of +2 to -2 seconds per day.

This 2021 example is presented in mint, unworn condition, with some factory protective stickers in place. Included in the sale are the box, guarantee, and swing tag. Rolex’s five-year warranty covers the watch until 2026.
