Offered by a private collector, this 2021 Patek Philippe Calatrava Travel Time ref. 7234G-001 is accompanied by its presentation box, outer box, certificate of origin, booklets, leather folder, spare factory leather strap and date adjustment tool. The vendor advises the watch is unworn and its condition appears to be within the bounds of their ‘AAA’ grading.

Released at Baselworld 2018, the ref. 7234G-001 is more wearable, but functionally identical to the ref. 5524 that launched several years prior. The white gold case measures 37.5mm in diameter and is finished in a high polish. The design blends the utilitarian looks of a pilot’s watch with Patek Philippe’s clever travel time complication. With a profile that clearly distinguishes it from other models in the Calatrava line, the case has distinctive pushers on the left flank for adjusting the skeletonised “local-time” hour hand.

Designed with legibility in mind, the blue dial features large white gold Arabic numerals filled with Super-LumiNova. The underside reveals an exhibition caseback displaying the expertly finished calibre CH 324 S C FUS, elaborately decorated with Cotes de Geneve across the bridges and gold winding mass. The Patek Philippe seal ensures a high standard of finishing and that the movement is regulated to -3/+2 seconds per day.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
