SUMMARY
The Speedmaster Professional is one of the true greats of modern watchmaking, with a timeless design that has changed very little in over 50 years of production. The “Speedy” has become synonymous with space travel and exploration thanks to its long association with NASA and its appearances on the wrists of several of its astronauts. This latest generation example was launched in 2021 and features several key updates including a revised bracelet and movement. The calibre 3861 introduces Omega’s co-axial escapement and has been Master Chronometer certified by METAS. It’s also equipped with anti-magnetic qualities making it resistant to fields up to 15,000 gauss.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.
