This one-owner 2021 Omega Speedmaster Calibre 321 ref. 311.30.40.30.01.001 was purchased new by the vendor from an Omega boutique in the UK. It’s a full set and accompanied by the display box with medallion, warranty card, pictograms card and booklets. Also included are a strap change tool, loupe and spare straps which are unused and factory wrapped. The vendor advises the watch is in brand new unworn condition and have graded it ‘AAA’. With no signs of wear and factory protective covers attached, the images appear consistent with that assessment.

This special Speedmaster was launched in 2020 to honour the model line’s impressive legacy. The case measures 39.7mm in diameter and is based on the design language of “pre-moon” examples from the 1960s. Earning its nickname the “Ed White” it resembles the ref. 105.003, which the American astronaut wore on the first spacewalk in 1965. The dial maintains the classic Speedmaster aesthetic with highly legible white hands and markers contrasting against a black face.

On the watch’s underside, a sapphire case back offers a view into this watch’s standout feature. After much speculation about whether Omega would revive its legendary calibre 321, the company painstakingly anylsed, scanned and finally put into production its most legendary movement. Powering Speedmasters through the early years, including those examples worn on the moon, this calibre earned an unrivalled reputation for reliability and robustness and this modern recreation retains all of its qualities. It’s manually wound and equipped with 56-hour power reserve.
