Sell it with usPurchased new by the vendor from an IWC retailer, this Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Top Gun ‘SFTI’ is a full set example and accompanied by its box, warranty card, booklets, travel pouch, micro fibre cloth and original bill of sale. The seller advises it’s in ‘as new’ condition and has not been worn, it appears to be within the bounds of their ‘AAA’ grading. The watch is still under IWC's 8 year international warranty. This particular model is also limited to 1,500 pieces worldwide.
The watch features a 44.5mm ceramic case that’s nicely complemented by a black dial. Designed with legibility in mind, large Arabic numerals mark the hours and a minutes track runs around the dial’s perimeter. The chronograph and running seconds are displayed in sub-dials at 6, 9 and 12 o’clock, with day and date apertures at 3. A red fighter jet is seen on the end of the chronograph hand paying tribute to the US Navy Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor program, also known as ‘Top Gun’. IWC’s in-house calibre 69380 powers this latest-generation Spitfire model. The feature-rich movement is equipped with a 46-hour power reserve, a column-wheel chronograph, and a quick-set day and date.
Named after the relationship between IWC and the US Navy Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor program, the Top Gun range is an extension of IWC’s successful Pilot’s Watch model line and supports retired Top Gun pilots.
