Sell it with usGirard Perregaux’s iconic Laureato was first launched in 1975 and was named after the Italian film ‘The Graduate’. The original Laureato was famed for its integrated bracelet and distinctive bezel that would develop into the octagonal shape, beloved of the line. These are touches still much in evidence with contemporary models.
This 2021 Laureato results from the company’s recent collaboration with the iconic carmaker Aston Martin after its recent re-entry to Formula 1. The two companies have a combined 330-year-old history in their respective fields, and this limited edition of just 188 pieces pays tribute to both brands’ heritage. The ‘’Aston Martin Green’’ dial features a diamond-like pattern found on the company’s logo and quilted seats during the 1920s. Powering the watch is the in-house calibre GP03300, an automatic movement boasting a 46-hour power reserve. This is the first Laureato with an open case back so that the beautifully finished movement can be admired at all times.
This example is presented still sealed in the bag and includes the original wooden box, papers and warranty card. This auction represents an excellent opportunity to own this very limited watch, which has long since sold out through boutiques. Please note: The title image is not of the watch being sold. It has been included to provide a detailed representation of the model as this particular lot is presented as a sealed unused item.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
