Sell it with usWidely sold out at Cartier boutiques, this lot provides an opportunity to acquire a highly sought-after Cartier Tank Must in green. Offered by a private vendor, it’s presented with its display box and warranty card. The seller advises the watch was tried on at purchase and not worn since. With a factory sticker in place on the case back, its condition appears to fall within the bounds of their ‘AA’ grading.
Recent trends in watch collecting have seen a big push towards colourful and interesting dials. For 2021, Cartier has revived its Must de Cartier line by releasing a handsome trio of watches in striking colours. Not only are they fun, they’re also approachable, with steel cases and quartz movements keeping them affordable. With ever-inflating prices for Swiss luxury watches, these pieces represent a refreshing change.
The iconic Tank case shape is presented in versatile dimensions to fit all wrist sizes. The minimalist design includes a dial bereft of any unnecessary details and lets the vibrant green colour take centre stage. A simple hour and minute hand are used to display the time, with “Cartier” and “Swiss Made” the only printed script.
A green alligator strap is attached to the case to complement the dial’s vibrancy and provide a dressy yet laid-back aesthetic. Housed inside the case is a modern Cartier quartz movement, which offers the wearer the convenience of a pick-up-and-go dress watch option without the need to wind and set.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
