This one-owner, 2021 Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph was purchased from an AP boutique and is being auctioned through a private vendor as a full set. The watch is presented in its original display box and outer sleeve, and is accompanied by its user manual, and proof of the official AP five-year warranty covering the watch until 2023. Further additions to the set include two spare links and a protective housing for the case. Protective stickers can be seen on the bracelet and clasp. Based on the information and images provided by the seller, the watch fits within the bounds of their ‘AA’ grading.

Measuring 41mm in diameter, this Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph is finished in stainless steel with expertly hand-laid polished bevels along the flanks and lug hoods. Similar attention to detail can be seen on the bezel, with sharp transitions between the brushed and polished surfaces. This iconic piece of watch design features a traditional “tapisserie” dial with contrasting black sub-registers to display the chronograph and running seconds. Meanwhile, the baton hands and hour markers are finished in applied white gold, and there is a blue-finished date window located at 4:30.

Regarded as having one of the best bracelets in the game, each link on this example has finely polished bevels to match the finishing on the case. It’s secured to the wrist with a folding clasp featuring the Audemars Piguet ‘AP’ logo.

Beneath the screw-down ‘Royal Oak’-embossed rear casing is AP’s 2385 calibre. This automatic movement measures just 5.5mm in thickness and is one of the thinnest of self-winding chronographs ever produced. The power reserve is rated at 40 hours.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
