Sell it with usFor 2020, Rolex overhauled its Oyster Perpetual range with new sizes, colours, and technical updates. While the bright dial colours stole the show and drew comparisons to “Stella” models from the ’80s, behind the scenes, Rolex was updating the Oyster Perpetual to bring its specifications in line with other models in the catalogue.
New movements have been introduced, including the calibre 2232 fitted to the 34mm version we see here. The power reserve has been bumped up to 55 hours, and the “Syloxi” silicon hairspring provides increased resistance to magnetic fields. In addition to being Chronometer certified, the movement is now rated from -2 to +2 seconds per day.
Rolex’s “Easylink” extension has been added to the clasp for the first time on the Oyster Perpetual - giving the wearer the convenience of 5mm of tool-free adjustment.
The 34mm Oyster case has a striking blue sunray dial. Applied baton hour markers are fashioned from 18-carat white gold and filled with Rolex’s own “Chromalight” luminous material. A screw down twin-lock crown provides the watch with 100 metres of water resistance, making this a versatile choice for any situation.
The watch is presented in excellent unworn condition with no discernible signs of wear. Some of the factory fitted protective stickers are still in place. Also included in the sale are the box, guarantee, manual, and swing tags.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
