SUMMARY
Known officially as the reference 126711CHNR, the watch is a significant milestone in the GMT-Master II family. It was the first watch to incorporate 18K rose gold into the model line along with its all-gold counterpart. It gained its "Root Beer" nickname as a result of its brown and gold design elements, which draw on vintage examples of this iconic Rolex travel companion. These colours are also reflected on the bi-directional GMT bezel. Despite some of its retro characteristics, this 2019 watch is very much a contemporary Rolex. Beneath the screw-down rear casing beats Rolex's chronometer-certified 3285 calibre movement, an automatic movement with a 70-hour power reserve.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
