ABOUT THIS WATCH
- A stainless steel version of Rolex's iconic sports watch, the reference 116500LN is an intriguing part of the Daytona's six-decades-long history
- Announced at Baselworld 2016 and replaced in 2023 with the newer ref. 126500LN, this was the first Daytona to combine steel construction with Rolex’s ‘Cerachrom’ bezel
- The contemporary steel Daytonas continue to rank amongst the most in-demand watches on the market
- The watch features the Daytona's instantly recognisable case profile, with fluid lines and curves striking the perfect balance between dressy and sporty characteristics
- Housed inside the case is Rolex’s in-house calibre 4130, a self-winding chronometer-certified movement, which has powered the Daytona since 2000
- Calibre 4130 has a power reserve of 72 hours
- The screw-down crown and Oyster case afford the watch 100 metres of waterproofness, offering a level of versatility seldom seen in chronographs from other manufacturers
