Sell it with usIntroduced at Baselworld 2016, the ref. 5930G is the first production Patek Philippe watch combining both the world time and chronograph complication, drawing inspiration from the piece unique No. 862 442 from 1940 that boasted the same combination of functions.
The watch features a white gold case measuring a versatile 39.5mm in diameter. It fits modern watch standards by being sporty enough to be casual yet formal enough to wear with a suit. The silver, white and blue dial is vibrant and visible with a barleycorn cut guillotine at centre, a day/night indicator and an outer ring listing the 24 principal time zones across the globe. The 30-minute chronograph counter is positioned at 6 o’clock in a white gold surrounded blue sub-dial. The navy blue leather strap has a single folding clasp with the Calatrava cross motif in white gold just like the luminous hands and indices. Visible through the sapphire case back is the in-house Calibre CH 28-520 HU which features a 21K winding rotor and a 55-hour power reserve.
This 2020 example is presented in good condition, with 3 very small marks on the case at the 7 and 8 o’clock positions. The accompanying leather strap shows some signs of wear on the inside. Included in the sale are the box, leather wallet and papers.
