KEY FACTS

  • This Omega Speedmaster is offered by a private collector based in the UK

ABOUT THIS WATCH

  • Launched at Baselworld 2013, the ‘Dark Side Of The Moon’ brought the Speedmaster into the 21st century with a stealthy black aesthetic and a case and dial made of scratch-resistant ceramic
  • The case maintains the Speedmaster’s classic lines including the lyre lugs and tachymeter bezel but introduces larger 44.25mm dimensions
  • Providing additional visual interest are striking red accents on the chronograph seconds hand and ‘Speedmaster’ script, offering plenty of contrast against the ceramic gloss black dial
  • On the underside, a large sapphire crystal displays the Co-Axial calibre 9300, which is chronometer-certified and equipped with a 60-hour power reserve
