Sell it with usFor an event as significant as Apollo 11’s 50th anniversary, Omega was bound to release something special - and they certainly delivered. This limited-edition watch is essentially a re-creation of a vintage Speedmaster reference, all the way down to the burgundy bezel and striking onyx hour markers. The 42mm case and bracelet are constructed of solid gold - as is the dial - signified by ‘OM’ or ‘Or Massif’ printed next to ‘Swiss Made’.
The attached bracelet tapers neatly down to a twin-trigger fold-over clasp with the Omega logo. On the case’s underside, a sapphire crystal reveals the gold-plated and manually-wound calibre 3861. The movement is a METAS certified Master Chronometer with a co-axial escapement and silicon balance spring. Surrounding this is some commemorative text accompanied by a small representation of the Earth on one side and the moon on the other. Adding a special touch, Omega has chosen to use a real piece of lunar meteorite to represent its surface.
Numbered 877 of 1014, this example is presented in new, unworn condition. The watch is accompanied by its inner and outer box, warranty card, Master Chronometer card, pictogram card, booklet, and swing tags.
