SUMMARY
The Yacht-Master II is an interesting reference within the Rolex catalogue, offering one of the company’s most complicated movements inside one of its largest cases. As a watch that already makes a statement at 44mm in diameter, this example delivers even more wrist presence with its two-tone stainless steel and 18K rose gold case and matching Oyster bracelet. The standout technical feature of this piece is its programmable countdown timer designed for regatta sailing. The component is controlled via the “ring command” bezel which is made from rose gold with a contrasting blue ‘Cerachrom’ ceramic cap. Powering the watch is calibre 4161, which offers a 72-hour power reserve and is COSC certified.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.
