RolexYacht-Master II

Offered by a UK-based dealer, this Rolex Yacht-Master II is presented with its display box, warranty card, sleeve, booklets and swing tag. The watch shows some minor signs of wear, but it is in overall excellent condition. It appears to be within the bounds of the vendor’s ‘A’ grading.

The reference 116680 seen here offers one of the company’s most complicated movements inside one of its largest cases. Quite different to its siblings, it makes a statement with a 44mm case and is paired with an Oyster bracelet which complements its sporty look.

The standout technical feature is the programmable countdown timer designed for regatta sailing. It’s controlled via the “ring command” bezel, which is made from rose gold with a “Cerachrom” ceramic cap. Also finished in precious metal are the screw-down crown, pushers and centre links of the Oyster bracelet. Powering the watch is calibre 4161, which offers a 72-hour power reserve and is COSC certified.
