Referred to by many as the ‘Batgirl’, the ref. 126710BLNR seen here slightly facelifted the Oyster bracelet variation breathing fresh air into the line. The dressier Jubilee bracelet was new for this reference, giving the watch a more refined feel both ergonomically and aesthetically.
This is the latest generation in Rolex’s known and loved GMT-Master II model line. Offered with a striking blue and black “Cerachrom” bezel, the stainless steel case measures 40mm in diameter with large squared-off lugs yet slightly thinner and curved than the ones found on the original ‘Batman’.
Housed underneath the screw-down case back is Rolex’s latest generation calibre 3285. In addition to being chronometer-certified and tested to an accuracy of +2 to -2 seconds per day, this automatic mechanical movement has an increased power reserve of 70 hours over the 48 of its predecessor.
The latest generation GMT-Master II continues to build on this long-running and successful model line which dates back to 1954. With a waterproof case and the ability to track multiple time zones simultaneously, it’s a luxury travel companion with genuine utility.
