Few watches combine real history, versatile style and quality watchmaking like the Datejust. A model that seamlessly crosses over from dress to sport, it’s been a staple in Rolex’s catalogue since 1945.

The ref. 116203 we see here is classically sized at 36mm and finished in steel and yellow gold. The radial silver dial has gold applied Roman numeral hour markers and a trademark magnified date aperture at 3 o’clock. A twin-lock screw-down crown affords the watch 100m water resistance - further enhancing its versatility and solidifying the Datejust as a watch suitable for any occasion. Attached to the case is an Oyster bracelet with polished yellow gold centre links and an Easylink extension for tool-free adjustment. Inside the watch beats calibre 3135, which has a 48-hour power reserve and is Chronometer certified.

This 2019 example shows some very light swirls on the case and bracelet, and its condition is within the bounds of the seller’s A grading. The sale includes the box and guarantee card. The watch is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty until 2024, in addition to a certified pre-owned guarantee from the seller.
