Sell it with usOffered by a private collector, this Patek Philippe Annual Calendar ref. 5205G-013 is presented with its display box, outer box, certificate of origin, booklets, manuals and leather folder. The watch shows some minor signs of wear on the case, and its overall condition appears within the bounds of the seller’s ‘A’ grading.
The watch measures 40mm in diameter and is constructed from white gold, offering precious metal heft with a level of discreetness. The case is fully polished with fluid lines and distinctive scalloped lugs. The gradient blue fade dial is nuanced, showing the annual calendar in apertures across the top of the dial. A contrasting 24-hour indicator and moonphase are positioned at 6 o’clock.
Turning the watch over, an exhibition case back displays the calibre 324 S QA LU 24H/206. This automatic movement incorporates an annual calendar complication invented and patented by Patek Philippe in 1996. This clever mechanism displays the day, date and month and requires correction only once a year. The movement has been elaborately decorated with Côtes de Genève across the bridges and 21K winding rotor. The Patek Philippe seal ensures timekeeping is within -3 to +2 seconds per day.
The watch is paired with a dark blue factory alligator strap, which nicely matches the dial and is secured to the wrist via a white gold pin buckle.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
