Sell it with usThough a relatively young brand still, Hublot is widely known for its technical innovation and its pioneering use of materials. The original Big Bang was first released in 2005 with its porthole-inspired case, exposed screws, and rubber wrist strap to great acclaim, and has come to be accepted as a design classic.
The Spirit of the Big Bang was released in 2014 as a more contemporary reimagining of Hublot’s classic. Much of the design language is continued and the principles of fusion are again at the forefront, particularly with the use of metal alloys.
This model has a 42mm case with chronograph and date, powered by a skeletonised HUB4700 self-winding calibre – a highly-upgraded El Primero.
The polished titanium bezel is factory-set with 164 diamonds. The case and folding clasp are also manufactured in ultra-light titanium, whilst a highly legible sapphire dial comprises floating chronograph sub-dials. The watch features a 50-hour power reserve and 100m water resistance, complemented by a rubber strap.
The watch is offered in overall excellent condition with complete box and papers.
The watch case has only light handling marks and signs of very light wear, with a minute accumulation of dust in the case crevices. The crystal, hands and dial are in pristine condition.
The rubber and alligator strap is in excellent condition. The signature Hublot buckle is unmarked. The box is in superb condition and the carton is good.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
