SUMMARY

The 116610LN was launched in 2010, and became the first Rolex Submariner to wear the Crown’s all-new 40mm ‘Maxi’ case featuring bolder lugs and crown guards. Meanwhile, a further design enhancement of this all-time classic Rolex was the hard-wearing ceramic ‘Cerachrom’ bezel, which replaced the aluminium component fitted to older Submariners. Despite its aesthetic and technical upgrades, the ref. 116610LN retained its no-nonsense, rugged nature with its stainless steel finish, and highly-legible dial suited to deep-sea diving.
