Sell it with usFor auction through a private vendor, this 2018 Rolex GMT-Master II is presented as a full set. Along with its display box and outer sleeve, the watch is accompanied by its original documents including its instruction manual, proof of service, and official Rolex warranty card. Further additions to the ensemble include a set of swing tags and spare bracelet links. There are light marks and scratches on the watch; the most visible of which are on the bottom of the right flank and on the clasp. The vendor has graded the watch ‘A’ for condition and the images appear consistent with that assessment.
This reference is the significantly upgraded GMT-Master II, which Rolex introduced in 2007. This improved iteration of Rolex’s iconic pilot’s watch was the first GMT-Master II to be fitted with a ceramic (or Rolex-patented “Cerachrom”) scratch-resistant bezel, and an all-new widened 40mm case with squared off lugs, which contribute to a more substantial wrist feel. This bezel and the dial are finished in black, with the latter earmarked by a contrasting green GMT hand. The watch’s stainless steel ‘Oyster’ bracelet has polished centre links, with an ‘Oysterclasp’to provide the wearer with more peace of mind.
Beneath the watch’s screw down rear lies Rolex’s 3186 calibre, which is chronometer-certified and was in production from 2005 to 2018. This automatic movement has a power reserve of 48 hours and was developed completely in-house by the Swiss watchmaker.
