SUMMARY
When it launched in 2016, the Daytona ref. 116500LN was the model enthusiasts had been eagerly anticipating. After offering its “Cerachrom” bezel on several precious metal variants years earlier, Rolex finally applied it to the stainless-steel version.
The Daytona is a watch that strikes the perfect balance between sportiness and luxury. The ceramic bezel on this latest reference gives the watch a more bold and substantial appearance and complements the glossy dial of the black-faced variant, as we see here. Maintaining its sporty character is a robust three-link Oyster bracelet, fitted with an Easylink extension, providing up to 5mm of tool-free adjustment. Internally, Rolex's archetypal chronograph is powered by the calibre 4130, which is chronometer-certified and regulated after casing to +2 to -2 seconds per day. The power reserve is rated at an impressive 72 hours.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
