Accompanied by its box, booklets, and certificate of authenticity, this Patek Philippe Calatrava Pilot Travel Time is offered for auction from a private seller. It is presented without any significant marks, it appears to be consistent with the seller’s ‘A’ grading.

The design of the watch is inspired by Patek Philippe’s pilot watches from the 1930s with its enhanced legibility, large gold Arabic numerals and hands that are filled with Super-LumiNova. Easily distinguishable from the rest of the Calatrava models, it retains its luxurious status with a white gold case and incredible finishing, both on the outside as well as the inside.

As the perfect travel companion the case flank incorporates distinctive pushers for adjusting the skeletonised ‘local time’ hour hand. This allows the wearer to quickly set the local time when arriving at a new destination while simultaneously keeping track of time at home.

Powering this complication is the expertly finished calibre CH 324 S C FUS, accurate to run from -3/+2 seconds per day. The movement is visible through the sapphire caseback, showcasing the craftsmanship that is expected by any Patek product.

Complementing the watch’s look and feel is a factory brown calf leather strap with contrast stitching.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.

The description of this auction lot is, to the best of the seller's knowledge, accurate and not misleading. Watch Collecting requests a range of detail about the lot from the seller, and performs a level of due diligence. However, bidders must satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of the description, and conduct any research they feel is necessary before committing to a bid.
