KEY FACTS

  • This Omega Seamaster Ploprof 1200M is offered by a Private seller in the UK
  • Included in the sale is the wooden box, guarantee cards, wallets, booklets, and pouch
  • The vendor advises the watch is in good working order

ABOUT THIS WATCH

  • The original Omega Seamaster Ploprof 600 was introduced in 1971
  • The Ploprof, with its distinctive utilitarian aesthetic, has long been a poster child for Omega’s most hardcore dive watches
  • The modern iterations take great inspiration from the original, displaying similar designs and wearing dimensions
  • For 2015, the watch was heavily revised with Omega fitting the calibre 8900 Co-Axial Master Chronometer movement which first goes Chronometer certification at COSC, then cased at Omega before further testing for accuracy which warrants it a METAS certification
  • The movement is displayed through a sapphire caseback which is an impressive feat considering the watch’s 1200M water resistance
  • This variant’s titanium case is enhanced by the bezel, crown and security pusher being finished in rose gold
  • The watch’s titanium mesh bracelet is secured by a deployment clasp with Omega’s classic engraved seahorse
