Big, grey, and bold - the Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph well and truly lives up to its “Elephant” nickname. The 42mm case is predominantly satin-finished with expertly hand-laid polished bevels on the lugs and flanks of the octagonal bezel. Black ceramic material is used to craft the crown and pushers, which contrast nicely with the case. The “Mega Tapisserie” style dial, synonymous with the Royal Oak, is surrounded by a tachymeter scale, and contrasting sub-registers sit at 6, 9, and 12 o’clock. A date window with a magnifier is positioned at 3 o’clock and applied Arabic numerals with white gold surrounds are used to mark the hours. Attached to the case is an integrated leather strap with a satin-finished pin buckle. Viewable through the sapphire case back is Audemars Piguet’s calibre 3126 movement with a 55-hour power reserve and solid-gold winding rotor.

The watch is presented in excellent condition with only minor signs of wear. Also included in the sale are the box and papers. Audemars Piguet’s extended warranty offers cover until 2023.
