SUMMARY
The ‘Jumbo Extra-Thin’ line has been made in steel and precious metals before but at SIHH 2018 the 15202IP was released, which combines new materials and a new style for the dial. This reference was a boutique-only model and merely 250 pieces were ever made. The 39mm titanium case and bracelet with several platinum elements are presented with different finishing methods, platinum elements are mirror polished, contrasting with brushed titanium. Taking its design cues from early examples, it displays the applied 'AP' logo at 6 o'clock, atop the trademark 'tapisserie' pattern dial which features a unique smoked blue gradient colour. Visible through the sapphire caseback is the legendary calibre 2121, one of the thinnest full-rotor self-winding movements in the world and is considered by many as one of the most refined and technically impressive automatic wristwatch movements ever.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.
