ABOUT THIS WATCH

  • Introduced in 2008, the Deepsea Sea-Dweller reference 116660 was the most extreme version of Rolex’s hardcore diver at release, with a water resistance of 3,900 metres/12,800 feet - triple that of the regular Sea-Dweller
  • The Deepsea also introduced further engineering feats including a 5mm sapphire crystal and a Ringlock system to withstand extreme pressures underwater
  • The reference 116660 was the first member of the Sea-Dweller line to be fitted with a Cerachrom bezel, and a titanium caseback to bring down its weight
  • Powering this robust diver is the tried and tested calibre 3135 which is chronometer-certified and equipped with a 48-hour power reserve
