SUMMARY

With its hard-wearing DLC-coated finish and lightweight titanium case, the already-hardy Breitling Avenger benefits from yet an additional layer of ruggedness. Measuring 44mm in diameter, this 2017 watch is coloured entirely black to afford it a stealthy aesthetic. Despite its intriguing appearance, reference V17311 is still very much an Avenger, in that it prioritises function over form - the dial remains highly legible, whilst the unidirectional rotating bezel allows the wearer to keep a precise count of flight and/or dive times. Adding to the watch’s sense of functionality is its knurled screw-down crown, which allows the wearer to make adjustments to the time and date whilst wearing gloves, and affords the watch a water resistance of 200 metres.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.

Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.

The description of this auction lot is, to the best of the seller's knowledge, accurate and not misleading.
