Panerai Luminor 1950 Chrono Flyback

From a trade seller, this Panerai Luminor Flyback is accompanied by the box, booklets, case protector, screw driver, strap changing tool and spare rubber strap. Serviced in November of 2020, this lot is presented in good condition, bringing it within the seller’s ‘A’ grading.

The 44mm case is constructed from steel and features Panerai’s distinct crown protector. The black “sandwich” style dial has cut-outs for the numerals and indices, revealing a luminous disk underneath. Running seconds are displayed at 9 o’clock, and a date window is viewable at 3 o’clock. A blue central seconds hand and ‘Flyback’ text at 6 o’clock, signals the watch’s flyback chronograph complication. Inside beats Panerai’s in-house P.9100 calibre - an hand-wound movement with three-days of power reserve and sapphire caseback. Attached to the case is a factory black leather strap with contrast stitching and a steel pin buckle.

Based on Panerai’s trademark Luminor range, this reference introduces a hint of blue on the dial to accommodate the Flyback complication.
