Sell it with usWhen James Bond, first introduced himself to viewers as an Omega wearer – and not a Rolex man, in Casino Royale– it was clear Omega were committed to the modern 007 franchise.
It's fitting that an ex-naval commander would choose a Seamaster with a water-resistance of 300m as standard. In Spectre, Bond wears two. But it’s the OMEGA Seamaster 300 Spectre Limited Edition, as seen here, with lollipop seconds hand and a black and grey NATO strap that remains the most memorable from the film.
Featuring a 41mm stainless steel case, black ceramic bi-directional rotating bezel and a domed, scratch‑resistant sapphire crystal with anti‑reflective treatment inside that protects the dark and brooding black dial, the watch is stealthy yet classic, much like Bond himself.
Rhodium plated hands have a vintage-inspired (blue emission) coating of Super-Luminova, while other features include the ‘lollipop’ central seconds hands, as well as the 5-stripe black and grey NATO strap - otherwise known as the James Bond NATO Strap. To further cement this link, the bracelet's strap holder includes a subtle "007" engraving.
Powered by a self-winding OMEGA Master Co-Axial calibre 8400 movement that is resistant to magnetic fields greater than 15,000 gauss, the watch is a powerful and reliable one. Its 60-hour power reserve is a testament to its build quality.
Limited to 7,007 models, and long ago sold out, this example is available in pre-owned condition, with subtle nicks and dings to both case and bezel. But no more than would be expected of daring men and women who long for a slice of espionage-inspired excitement in their lives. Original box and papers and included.
