Sell it with usThe Deepsea D-Blue honours James Cameron’s triumphant expedition down to the bottom of the Mariana Trench in 2012. The watch has several aesthetic changes over the standard model, including a blue to black gradient face and “DEEPSEA” script that has been moved to the bottom half of the dial and coloured bright green to match Cameron’s sub.
As Rolex’s most hardcore dive instrument, the watch is suitably equipped for underwater activities with an impressive 3900 metres of waterproofness. This is thanks to a 5mm thick sapphire crystal, a helium escape valve, and a Ringlock system. Attached to the case is an Oyster bracelet with a Glidelock extension - providing the wearer with 15mm of tool-free adjustment. Sitting underneath the titanium screw-down caseback is the renowned calibre 3135 movement that is COSC certified and has a 48-hour power reserve.
Purchased new by the seller in 2015, this example shows light signs of wear and is within the bounds of the seller’s A grading. The sale includes a Rolex box, warranty card, booklet, sleeve, bezel protector and swing tag.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
