SUMMARY

First launched in 1956 and the world’s first chronometer wristwatch that could display the week’s date and day through windows in its dial, the Day-Date has become synonymous with luxury as a flagship model in Rolex’s catalogue. The Day-Date II was produced between 2008 and 2015, and with its large 41mm diameter, is sized for contemporary tastes. This example is finished in solid 18K rose gold and features an eyecatching sunburst dial with applied gold Roman numeral hour markers.
