Inspired by the lunar dust that preserved the human footprints on the Moon, this watch is crafted from white ceramic innovatively transformed to a metallic grey. It recalls the astronaut Jim Lovell’s words during the Apollo 8’s lunar orbit: “The Moon is essentially grey.

The sand-blasted 950 platinum dial gives the Speedmaster “Grey Side of the Moon” a more elegant and classic look while underscoring the craftsmanship that went into creating the watch.

Starting life white, the ceramic case is heated to 20,000 degrees Celsius for 3 hours to produce the metallic grey effect. The tachymeter scale on the bezel is filled with Super-Luminova to be read in all light conditions. The watch is powered by the co-axial calibre 9300 equipped with a silicon balance spring.

The watch is offered in overall excellent condition with full box and papers. The case has only light handling marks and fingerprints. The crystal, dial and hands are pristine. The strap is unmarked with any curvature due to the watch sitting on its cushion in the box.

The watch is offered with all the original swing tags. The box and papers are complete and in excellent condition.
