SUMMARY
The sea-faring Offshore Chronograph brings more presence and increased water resistance to the Royal Oak family. The 42mm case and bracelet of this example are fashioned from stainless steel with sharp transitions between brushed and polished surfaces highlighting the watchmaker’s attention to detail. The “Mega Tapiserrie” dial, synonymous with the Royal Oak, is surrounded by a tachymeter scale, with contrasting sub-registers and large Arabic numerals. Inside the watch beats Audemars Piguet’s calibre 3126/3840 movement which features a 50-hour power reserve.
