Panerai Radiomir

This Panerai Radiomir was purchased by the vendor from Watch Collecting. The watch is offered for sale with presentation box and papers. Presented without any visible marking, the watch appears to be consistent with its ‘AA’ grading.

The 18K red gold case is fully polished and is accompanied by a factory brown leather strap with contrast stitching and an 18K red gold pin buckle. Should the wearer wish to change straps or attach a waterproof alternative, the lug holes make swapping over a breeze. The watch has a “sandwich” type dial, whereby cut-outs for the numerals and indices reveal a luminous disk underneath. Running seconds are displayed at 9 o’clock, and a date window is viewable at 3 o’clock. Turning the watch over shows Panerai’s in-house P. 3000 calibre - a manual wind movement with a three-day power reserve.

The limited edition Radiomir 1940 3 Days PAM515 reflects Panerai’s utilitarian aesthetic but introduces precious metals to give the watch a more luxurious feel.
