OmegaSeamaster Aqua Terra Co-Axial 34mm

Originally purchased from the Watches of Switzerland group, this Omega Seamster Aqua Terra is being auctioned along with its boxes, suede pouch, swing tag and operating instructions. The watch shows some visible marks and scratches on the case and bracelet and its overall condition appears to be within the bounds of the vendor’s ‘A’ grading. 

Paying homage to Omega’s seafaring heritage, this Aqua Terra reference is presented in a 34mm stainless steel case. The mix of brushed and polished surfaces and the lyre-style lugs are redolent of Omega design language. Evoking the wooden decks of sailing boats, the white dial features vertical striations that add an extra layer of visual interest. 

Sitting behind the famous hippocampus engraved case back is the calibre 8520. This self-winding movement boasts 50 hours of power reserve and is fitted with Omega’s Co-Axial escapement.

The Aqua Terra is a version of the Omega’s iconic Seamaster, which - with its water resistance of 150 metres - can be used for sporting activities and dress purposes. The Seamaster was originally launched in 1948 and is much-loved for its hardy, capable nature.
