Sell it with usOffered by a private collector, this Rolex Submariner is sold along with its box, booklet, service pouch, swing tag and warranty card. Also included is the Rolex Service Guarantee from Bucherer London - dated December 2021, and an extra bracelet link. Presented with some expected wear around the steel case and bracelet, it falls within the bounds of the seller’s ‘A’ grading.
The ref. 114060 ‘No Date’ presents a 40mm stainless steel case that wears with more wrist presence than its dimensions would suggest thanks to large squared-off lugs synonymous with modern Rolex design. While the Submariner has well and truly moved into the realms of luxury since its tool-watch beginnings, it hasn’t lost any of its utility. The screw-down trip-lock crown affords 300m of water resistance, and the large white gold indices and hands are filled with Rolex’s proprietary “Chromalight” luminescence for superior legibility. Powered by calibre3130, it is Chronometer-certified and offers a 48 hours of power reserve.
Introduced in 2012 and discontinued in 2020, the ref. 114060 defined a new era of Submariner design. Through the introduction of a uni-directional Cerachrom bezel, the revolutionary Glidelock clasp and a beefier case, Rolex brought this iconic diver up to date with the latest technology.
