SUMMARY
The 5712 was launched in 2006 and has since become one of the most desirable luxury steel sports watches on the market. Sold alongside the recently discontinued 5711, it brings character and technical charm to the Nautilus line by integrating several popular complications - a power reserve indicator, moon phase and a radial date.
The Nautilus 5712/1A-001 is presented in a 40mm stainless steel case with a distinctive rounded octagonal bezel. Paired with an integrated bracelet, the watch is expertly finished with a blend of brushed and polished surfaces throughout. At 8.52mm in height, it's both ergonomic and cuff-friendly. The dark blue dial is distinguished by horizontal embossing that’s become emblematic of the Nautilus line. Applied white gold hour markers and hands are filled with Super-LumiNova for superior legibility. The sub-registers, which display the complications, are embellished with crisp white numerals and markers, adding visual interest and contrast.
Turning the watch over, an exhibition case back displays the calibre 240 PS IRM C LU. This automatic movement is elaborately decorated with Cotes de Geneve across the bridges and the 22K gold micro-rotor.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.
