A favourite amongst Panerai enthusiasts, the PAM177 represents a pure representation of the brand. The brushed 44mm case is made from titanium - providing a utilitarian aesthetic and helping the watch to sit lightly on the wrist. The black dial is classic Panerai, with its simple layout displaying the time through oversized hands and markers. Also featured is the ‘sandwich’ dial, whereby cutouts on the face show luminous material from a disk below. This provides excellent legibility and delivers a visually attractive three-dimensional look. The watch is built for purpose and is equipped with 300m of water resistance thanks to its trademark crown guard and lever set up. Housed inside is the calibre OP XI, a manually-wound pocket watch movement that boasts a 55-hour power reserve when fully wound.

Numbered 168 of 600, this example is fitted with a black alligator strap and is presented in good condition with a few visible scratches on the case and clasp. Included in the sale are the original box and papers with three additional straps and a bezel protector, and a strap tool.
