Sell it with usAfter a long period of absence, Tag Heuer brought back the Monza in 2011 with this limited-edition Calibre 36 chronograph. While most re-editions from the brand have centred around pieces from the 60s and 70s, the Monza dates back much further to the 1930s.
The 38mm cushion-shaped case features a silver dial and ecru coloured Arabic numerals that echo the appearance of aged luminous material. Sub-registers at 3 and 9 o’clock display the constant seconds and chronograph minutes. Turning the watch over reveals the Calibre 36, which is based on Zenith’s renowned El Primero movement and features a 50-hour power reserve. Complementing the Monza’s aesthetic is a factory textured leather strap and a twin-trigger deployant clasp.
Numbered 567 of 1911, this example is presented in excellent condition with only light signs of wear. Also included in the sale are the box, guarantee, and swing tag.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
