RolexYacht-Master II

Offered by a private collector, this Rolex Yacht-Master II ref. 116688, which first retailed in 2012, is accompanied by its box, warranty card, booklets and swing tag. The watch shows some light marks and swirls and its condition is within the bounds of the seller’s ‘A’ grading. 

With its 44mm case and precious metal construction, this is a watch with serious wrist presence. It’s also feature-rich with a programmable countdown timer displayed alongside the time, and a running seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock. A ‘ring-command’ bezel has a Cerachrom insert with gold recesses that display the numerals and the model’s name.

Attached to the case is an 18K yellow gold bracelet with polished centre links and an Easylink extension for tool-free adjustment. The watch is powered by the calibre 4161, a chronometer-certified automatic movement that is the result of over 35,000 hours of development. As one of Rolex’s most complicated movements, it features a chronograph and countdown function and boasts an impressive 72-hour power reserve.
