The reference 26300ST offers the iconic and instantly recognisable look of the Royal Oak combined with the functionality of a chronograph. The angular case presents in a versatile 39mm size and, despite its complication, is a cuff-friendly 11mm thick. The “panda” dial features a “mega tapisserie” pattern which is has been synonymous with the model line since it was first conceived in 1972. The watch features a date window between 4 and 5 o’clock, with small seconds at 6 o’clock. Recessed black sub-dials provide contrast and are distinguished by polished white gold chapter rings. Audemars Piguet has chosen to include red accents on the hands and minute track - giving the watch a sportier aesthetic. The distinctive character lines of the Royal Oak are also evident on the bracelet, which has fine bevelling and an “AP” logo deployant clasp. Equipped with a 40 hour power reserve, the watch is powered by the 2385 calibre movement.
Conceived by legendary watch designer Gerald Genta in 1972, the Royal Oak was a pioneer for luxury stainless steel sports watches. It’s a powerful aesthetic that has made the Royal Oak an enduringly popular watch since its debut in 1972.
