• First run in 1927 and restarted as an exclusive vintage revival race in 1977, the Mille Miglia is one of the key events in the Italian sporting calendar
• Since 1988, Chopard had been a timing partner, a sponsor and has produced a range of watches to celebrate the race
• This reference is one of just 1000 made, and features a 44mm stainless steel case
• An engraved tachymeter bezel references the model’s motorsport connection 
• The black dial presents four contrasting sub-dials, used for the small seconds, the chronograph function, and the date complication
• Housed inside the case is the la Joux-Perret caliber 8721 movement, which offers split-second chronograph functionality alongside a 42-hour power reserve
• In keeping with the road racing spirit, the rubber strap has a characteristic ‘tyre’ tread design
